History

Grounded Redfield opened on 14 January 2007. It was the brainchild of Tobie Holbrook - property developer, entrepreneur and owner of Holbrook Moran estate agents. Tobie set out to maximise on the popular lounge-bar culture that has taken our high streets by storm using his flair and creativity to add something different into the mix.

As a businessman, Tobie found himself spending a lot of his time attending meetings in Café's, drinking a lot of Americanos and eating in a lot of Cafes. An opportunity came up to purchase 287 Church Road, Redfield, two doors up from his estate agency and for Tobie, this was the perfect location to launch his café idea from – not least because he now has no need for a kettle in the office but can pop next door for great quality coffee.

Bedminster Grounded

Bedminster Grounded Opened on 9 March 2010, with the same outlook on life and the same great standards in food, art and music.

It’s a bit bigger than Grounded Redfield and is ideal for bigger parties with seven separate exhibit spaces. The Garden at Bedminster, not un-similar to Redfield's, is a decked area with raised flower beds made from railway sleepers, planted with lush greenery and flowers. They're level access for the wheelchair and pushchair and a great hiding place for those who want to escape the city for a sneaky coffee or glass of wine.
