Grounded Chippenham Wins Award!

Grounded Chippenham had been given a Conservation & Environment award by the Chippenham Civic Society for enhancements and improvements to an existing building. Our small team of local craftsmen, led by Grounded’s owner, Tobie Holbrook, have been working tirelessly over the last couple of months to convert the building from the old Ruby’s nightclub. The interior has been completely transformed, characterised by the signature dark red and mustard yellow colour palate and reclaimed wooden furniture. Many of the original features of the building have been preserved, such as the vaulted ceiling beams, and the attention to detail is remarkable, from handmade doors and window frames to vintage light fittings.

Tobie says ‘the conversion of the building was a challenge, but we’ve got a great team of craftsmen to work on the build, from skilled carpenters to expert stonemasons. We’re thrilled to be able to give something back to the Chippenham community, and we’ve had such a positive response from local residents so far.’
